Colors, Letters and Printing

Hi everyone,
Here's the latest. I'm happy to announce that the interior colors pages were completed last weekend by Sanju, and they look insane. When the project first came up, he was no doubt my first choice. I was surprised he was willing to take it on. Especially being that his cover work is in such high demand. I couldn't be happier that he agreed to work on it, and I'm blown away with the results.
Now on to letters. Ringo Award nominee and Zombie Tramp veteran, Justin Birch is taking on the lettering chores and expects those to be done on August 2nd.
From there, and as fast as possible, Kim will be going to print, followed by shipping. Shipping will be done by the upstanding professionals at Still Ill Comics. I'll know much more on a time frame in the next week and will absolutely keep you updated as the final days tick down.

Hi everyone,
Happy 4th of July weekend.
Here's the latest update for Kim the Delusional:
The colors are moving forward but unfortunately aren't quite complete. It's now looking like the colors will be completed on July 12th. With a week of tweaking and 3 weeks for printing, it's currently looking like shipping will take place in mid to late August.
This is taking longer than expected, but when you what Sanju has done with the interior colors, I know it will be worth the wait.
Thank you to everyone who came out to Dallas, Charlotte and New Jersey. It was an awesome and very gratifying experience to meet so many backers, sharing advanced pages, and being able to explain the delay in person.
Next weekend I'll be in London for the London Film & Comic Con. This is likely my final show of the year. Like the previous 3 shows, if you're a backer please stop by and pick up a couple free Kim goodies.
Were getting near the finish line. I see no reason for this to drag on much longer. Thanks so much for your patience. Talk to you very soon.

KIM SHIPPING UPDATE

Hello everyone, Happy Memorial Day weekend. Here’s a long, long overdue update.
The good news is, the pencils are 100% complete, the acrylic stands, all the lanyards, collector cards, stickers and magnets, are all in hand and currently being packed at Still Ill headquarters.
The not as good news is there will be a slight delay. There was a serious family medical issue with a team member that slowed down the interior color production. Everything seems to be back on track, but realistically, going to print and shipping in the month of June seems a bit of a stretch. That being said, it now looks like July will be the new shipping month.
I’m very sorry for any delay. I was advised going into the Kickstarter launch to make sure there was plenty of time to hit that ship date, yet it still looks like it’ll be a bit late. It’s totally on me. Honestly, nothing would make me happier than putting this book in your hands.
I'll be in Dallas for FanExpo the weekend of June 9th. If your there, please stop by and I'll give you some free Kim swag to hopefully tide you over till July.
Thanks for your patience, I promise it’ll be worth the wait.

Long Overdue Update

Hey everyone.
So sorry for the slow update. I'd been pushing it back so I could announce that I'd completed the pencils on Kim. I really had expected to have finished much sooner. Truthfully though, I know how tedious my process is and that's why June was originally set as the shipping date. That being said, I started the pencils on the final page early this morning and expect to have it done and off for Colors before I leave for MegaCon this weekend.
Long story short, The pencils will be done this week. The pages have been going out for colors as they've been completed. The Add-ons and unlockables have been ordered. most are already in hand.
Things are absolutely still on track for the June release.
If you're at MegaCon this weekend, stop by table P-118 and pick up some free Kim swag.
The next update will be very soon.

Hi everyone. Happy belated New Year.
Kim’s production continues to roll forward on schedule.
I’m working on it all day, every day and can’t wait to get it out to you.
If you haven’t, please fill out your surveys. They are currently 94% complete.
Today is also the day we’ll be locking in addresses through BackerKit and
cards will be processed over the next couple days.
